Stepped Face with an Offset Rounded Opening
The upper cover has a long stepped face with an offset rounded opening rather than a symmetrical centre cut-out. Several small raised fixing pads line its lower portion, and the ends change shape around the neighbouring mounting areas.
Compare the offset opening and the levels of the fixing pads on the original 2019 1.3T cover. The panel should not be confused with the frame below it or with the differently shaped cover used for another configuration. The photograph does not establish a service function for the opening.
