Description
Shallow Channel Between Unequal End Profiles
This sill moulding is long and narrow, with a shallow channel extending along much of its face. Its two ends are not the same: one broadens into an angled return, while the other has a smaller notched outline. Those transitions help distinguish the fit at the vehicle edges.
Compare both ends and the channel profile on the required side. A photograph of only the middle section leaves out the most useful locating details. The moulding should not be treated as a structural sill or a load-bearing step.
